An exciting opportunity to join an Outstanding team! Thorpe Hesley Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed teaching assistant to support children with additional needs within our Specialist Enhanced Provision (SEP). We are looking for someone who is creative, passionate and patient to join our committed and nurturing school team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to children with additional needs within SEP.
  • Deliver basic first aid as part of the school day (full training will be provided).
  • Collaborate with staff to support children’s educational and emotional development.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children.
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Flexible, numerate, IT literate, punctual, reliable.
  • Willing to undertake training as required.
