About this Opportunity
An Exciting Opportunity to Join an Outstanding Team! We are currently looking for more invigilators to help oversee our exams. Working as a team, invigilators contribute to ensure a calm environment for the exams, giving candidates confidence in the process. They ensure the right candidates are in the right place and give out vital information such as start and finish times of exams, ensuring all learners have the correct materials and information for the exam and they also help prevent malpractice. It is important that exams are conducted in the correct way and in accordance with strict JCQ regulations. Invigilators are therefore crucial to this process and need to be reliable, punctual, flexible, meticulous, vigilant and able to relate to learners in a high-pressure environment.
This is a part-time role on a casual basis but one that can make a real difference. New College Pontefract is an outstanding place to work and study, regularly near the top of UK sixth form college results tables and awarded outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in 2023.
