About this Opportunity

An exciting opportunity to join an outstanding team and be at the forefront of our organisational development. We are seeking a suitably qualified and highly motivated individual to support the secondary specialist provision for young people with identified Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will support students across a range of ages, abilities, and emotional needs, working in both 1:1 and small-group settings to help them re-engage with learning in a structured, safe, and supportive environment.

Young people in our specialist provision require consistency, stability, and positive role models who can respond to their needs with patience and empathy. Your role is to support their academic engagement, emotional regulation, and social development while ensuring their school experience is as productive, safe, and beneficial as possible.

The successful candidate will join a committed team of staff to further improve learning, teaching and student outcomes. An understanding or experience of working with vulnerable young people and those with learning or behaviour difficulties is essential. The successful candidates will be flexible enough to meet the changing demands of a busy school day and able to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and will have excellent communication skills, as well as a good attention to detail and an enthusiastic approach to your work.
