Responsibilities
- Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for practical classes, assessments, and exams.
- Ensure safety and accessibility of machines and tools for students.
- Order and monitor tools and materials, maintain and repair equipment.
- Assist teaching staff and monitor students for safe working practices.
- Organise and store equipment according to College policy, and dispose of waste materials safely.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant trade and technical skills in Plumbing, Electrical, Brickwork or Wood Trades.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changes in course content.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
- All staff must be eligible for an Enhanced DBS check and, if engaged in regulated activity, a Children's Barred List check. Failure to comply may result in withdrawal of the offer of employment.
