We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring and committed Senior Curriculum Manager to be responsible for ESOL at our Havering and Epping Campuses. Reporting to the Group Curriculum Director for ESOL, the Senior Curriculum Manager is a second‑tier manager within our directorate structure. Specific to this role is responsibility for Adult and 16‑18 programmes across Epping and Havering campuses. The core purpose is to drive up standards and ensure an excellent student experience.
The role requires teaching to a high standard, line‑management of a large team of teachers, undertaking observations of teaching and learning, supporting the planning, monitoring and evaluation of the curriculum, and working effectively with the directorate leadership team to support day‑to‑day operations, curriculum development, quality improvement and the strategic aims of the ESOL directorate and the wider college.
Key Qualifications
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
- L5 teacher training qualification.
- ESOL specialism.
- ESOL teaching experience.
- Management experience is desirable.
