We are seeking an experienced qualified Level 7 Assessor who has passion, drive and enthusiasm to support and ensure their students receive the best possible educational experience. You will have experience in working with teams of support professionals to ensure every student is supported to achieve their academic milestones. Strong communication skills are a must, and your ability to relate your knowledge with passion and fun will be key to our student’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering a variety of standardised tests and observational methods to evaluate a person's reading, writing, and mathematical skills, as well as other cognitive and language-related abilities.
  • Analysing assessment results to determine if an individual has an SpLD and, if so, which specific disability they have.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports detailing assessment findings, including the diagnosis, the individual's strengths and weaknesses, and any other relevant information.
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to parents, educators, and other stakeholders to foster understanding and support for the individual.
  • Engaging in ongoing training and professional development to maintain expertise in the field.
  • Educating parents, teachers, and other professionals about SpLDs, their impact, and effective strategies for support.
  • To organise, assess and process Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) from referral to EAA confirmation.

Who You Are:

As a member of the Supported Learning Team you will be responsible for supporting and teaching students with a range of Additional Learning Needs. Conducting specialist diagnostic assessments for adults and/or young people. You will have a Level 7 SpLD qualification and current Assessment Practicing Certificate (APC).
