We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, proactive, organised individual to join our talented exams team to take the department to the next level. We require an individual who is focused on students and their college experience and who is able to follow structured processes and procedures. This role involves supporting the exams team in the administration of all external exams ensuring compliance with Awarding Body and Group policies while delivering a seamless exam experience for students and staff. The post will be based within our Havering hub which includes the Ardleigh Green, Rainham and Wingletye Lane sites.
Responsibilities
- Support the exams team in all areas of exam administration from processing exam entries and recording of achievements to the running and invigilation of external examinations.
- Under the direction of the Exams Manager, support the Exams Office in all areas of exam administration.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team, preferably in a large FE college.
- Experience in invigilating exams, ideally including online assessments.
- Familiarity with Awarding Bodies' administrative processes and regulations.
- Established administrative skills with a proven commitment to accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills with proven experience using complex systems and centralised databases.
- Collaborative team member with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of Data Protection principles.
- Proactive and solutions‑focused approach to problem solving.
