We require exceptional classroom practitioners with a passion for teaching English. You will be an innovative and creative teacher with a student-centred vision. You will have ambition, energy and drive to provide our students with an outstanding experience. You will teach and manage all aspects of learning for our 16-19 and adult learners. Courses range from entry level to L2 GCSE.
You will be self-motivated, a good communicator and have the ability to create a safe and inspirational learning environment. You will have experience of teaching Functional Skills English and GCSE English and a track record of delivering excellent outcomes for learners. You will have a vocation for meeting the needs of learners at a range of starting points and supporting them to make excellent progress. You will be committed to your own professional development and be ready to contribute to a collaborative and student-centred team. The successful candidate will hold a teaching qualification. Possession of an English degree or level 5 Subject Specialism in Literacy would be desirable.
