The Role: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated ESOL Lecturer to join our dynamic team. Our college offers a large, diverse, and highly successful ESOL provision, delivering courses for both adults and 16 to 18 learners across all levels and campuses. We are looking for an innovative, flexible, and enthusiastic ESOL specialist who is passionate about supporting learners from a wide range of backgrounds. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach confidently across different levels and age groups, contributing to high quality teaching and learning. A recognised Level 5 specialist qualification and proven experience in ESOL teaching are essential. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional who is available for an immediate start and eager to make a positive impact within a thriving department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach and assess learning on a range of courses. Courses range from Pre entry level to level 2, including college-based qualifications.
  • To work effectively as a member of the team, liaising with Senior Curriculum Manager and all colleagues in the College.
  • To take an active role in own professional development in relation to all aspects of the role.

Who You Are: You are an innovative, flexible and enthusiastic ESOL specialist teacher who will relish working in a large and professional team. You will be able to teach across the range of levels. You will have a specialist qualification and successful experience of teaching ESOL.
