Job Opportunity: Electrical Installation Teacher

If you are considering a change of career or moving into education, this could be the role for you. The college will fund and support you to complete your Level 5 Certificate of Education teaching qualification.

We are seeking a dynamic industry specialist to join our experienced teaching and assessing team at our Rainham Campus.

Who You Are:

With excellent communication and organisational skills, you must be able to deliver effectively and engage students in their learning. Flexibility is essential as you may teach practical and/or theory to 16-19 learners.

Ideally, you will have experience delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Electrical Installation students. Due to the technical nature of the program, industry expertise and a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation are required, along with a good understanding of current electrical practices.

Key Skills and Experience:

Experience in teaching Electrical Installation or relevant industry experience. Industry expertise and a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation are essential, with a strong grasp of current electrical practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teach and assess a range of courses for 16-18s and adult learners, from Level 1 to Level 3, including college-based qualifications and apprenticeships.
  2. Collaborate effectively as part of a strong and dynamic team, liaising with the Senior Curriculum Manager and colleagues.
  3. Engage in professional development related to your industry specialization and teaching/assessing roles.

Note: If you require a Certificate of Sponsorship, this will be available for exceptional UK-based candidates.
