The Role: We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Group Curriculum Director Business to lead the development and delivery of an ambitious, high-quality Business curriculum across our college campuses. Reporting to the Principal, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our provision, ensuring it meets the needs of learners, employers, and funding bodies. This is a senior leadership role with cross-campus responsibility, requiring a strong focus on curriculum innovation, quality improvement, and operational excellence. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure our Business programmes are inclusive, forward-thinking, and aligned with labour market demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic development and delivery of the Business curriculum across campuses.
- Ensure programmes meet learner needs, employer demands, and funding requirements.
- Drive teaching excellence and improve student outcomes through effective leadership.
- Manage staff, budgets, and resources to ensure high performance and value for money.
- Represent the college externally and contribute to strategic planning and quality assurance.
- Teach 8 hours per week as part of a regular timetable.
Who You Are: A senior education leader with experience in curriculum design and quality improvement. Skilled in managing teams, budgets, and stakeholder relationships. Data-driven, results-oriented, and committed to learner success. A confident communicator with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style. Passionate about business education and its role in shaping future careers. You will need to hold a relevant degree and appropriate professional teaching qualifications and have significant and successful experience of curriculum management and of improving quality of student outcomes.
