New Chapters Support and Wellbeing is a family-run service dedicated to supporting vulnerable adults, young people and children in overcoming adversity and reaching their full potential.
We are seeking a proactive, caring and experienced Registered Service Manager to lead our Ofsted-regulated young persons' services.
We work with young people transitioning from a care background and with unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, across three separate residences in Bristol. We are looking for someone who enthuses, empowers and inspires both the young people we support and our teams of support workers, while taking a diligent approach to the essential administrative work.
If you wish to join a growing and ambitious company where every decision taken has the wellbeing of our service users and staff at its heart.
What you will be doing

- Lead, motivate, supervise and develop your team members, fostering a positive and professional culture.
- Act as Safeguarding Lead for the young persons’ services, ensuring that safeguarding is upheld to the highest standard.
- Create a nurturing, supportive and young-person-centred environment that meets the individual needs of each young person.
- Support young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), including managing challenging behaviours using trauma-informed approaches.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, placement plans and support plans to ensure effective care delivery.
- Build positive relationships with young people, families, social workers, local authorities and other professionals.
- Monitor performance, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement within the services, identifying opportunities to enhance outcomes and raise standards.
- Be on call as part of a wider management rota for services across our business.
