Flexible Hours | EOTAS Provision | Minimum 12 × 1-Hour Sessions Per Annum
New Chapter Tuition is recruiting a Specialist AuDHD Teacher or Educational Psychologist to deliver a bespoke programme of psychoeducation for a young person accessing an EOTAS package.
The provision forms part of the young person's EHCP and will complement their existing academic tuition. The successful professional will complete an initial assessment before developing and delivering an individualised programme tailored to the young person's Autism and ADHD (AuDHD) profile.
The programme will support the young person to develop their understanding of neurodivergence, individual strengths and needs, alongside strategies relating to areas such as emotional regulation, executive functioning, communication, self-advocacy and learning.
A minimum of 12 × 1-hour sessions per annum is specified, with the frequency and overall level of intervention to be determined following the initial assessment. The family can offer flexibility around days and times.
We are looking for:
- A Specialist Teacher with demonstrable Autism and ADHD expertise; or
- An Educational Psychologist with current HCPC registration
- Strong knowledge and experience of Autism and ADHD
- Experience delivering psychoeducation or similar specialist interventions
- Experience assessing individual needs and developing personalised programmes
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
Pay is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
