Behaviour Mentor – SEMH & Vocational Learning
Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Salary: £21,731–£24,195.50 + Up to £2,500 Annual Performance Bonus
Contract: Full Time | Permanent | Term Time Only
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
New Chapter Tuition is working exclusively with a specialist vocational education provision to recruit a Behaviour Mentor for a permanent, term-time role in Crawley.
You'll support KS3–KS5 learners with SEMH, ADHD, SEND, emotional and behavioural needs, and those who have experienced trauma. Through practical, vocational learning, you'll help young people rebuild confidence, develop resilience and successfully re-engage with education.
We're looking for candidates with experience in youth work, alternative provision, behaviour mentoring, learning support, the Armed Forces or Cadet Forces. You'll support learners 1:1 and in small groups of up to eight, using positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to maintain a safe, structured and engaging environment.
