The student is new to the UK and is at the beginning of his journey developing British Sign Language. He currently uses verbal communication and lip reading, and requires consistent support to develop his communication, access education and build confidence and independence within the school environment. This is a rewarding, long-term opportunity, with the potential to support the young person throughout Year 10 and Year 11 , providing valuable consistency throughout his education.
