We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to lead and accelerate growth across the UK retail and eCommerce landscape. This is a senior commercial leadership role with full P&L responsibility, combining strategic thinking, people leadership, and hands-on execution with major customers. This role offers the opportunity to shape omnichannel strategy, build high-performing teams, and drive sustainable, profitable growth across both physical retail and digital platforms.
The Role
- You will be accountable for defining and delivering the UK sales and eCommerce strategy, with a strong focus on commercial excellence, customer partnerships, and digital acceleration.
- Working closely with key retail and online customers, you will lead complex negotiations, develop Joint Business Plans, and translate insight into impactful growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial & Financial Leadership: Full ownership of net sales, volume, margin, and P&L delivery, supported by a clear rolling growth plan.
- Team Leadership & Development: Build, coach, and lead a high-performing sales and eCommerce team, embedding a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Omnichannel Strategy: Lead the execution of an end-to-end omnichannel and eCommerce strategy, driving performance across key digital KPIs such as search, visibility, reviews, and subscription models.
- Customer Partnerships: Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with key customers through best-in-class Joint Business Plans and effective commercial execution.
- Channel Evolution: Contribute to the development of future-facing retail and fulfillment models, applying global best practices within the UK market.
About You
- Proven experience leading a national sales or commercial team within FMCG or consumer goods.
- Strong track record of P&L ownership and delivering sustainable growth.
- Demonstrated success in eCommerce and/or omnichannel strategy with major UK retailers or digital platforms.
- Highly capable in complex negotiations and revenue growth management.
- A collaborative, people-focused leader with a passion for developing talent.
