Overview:
Hands on management and growth of regional wholesalers across the UK. You will be responsible for growing volume and distribution of existing SKU’s through commercial partnerships and innovative best in class visibility and training/ education. Key within this role is to gain listings of NPD and increase ROS across the whole portfolio of spirit brands
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Your role will be to nurture and develop regional wholesale relationships with the likes of HB Clark; Inn Express; Speciality Drinks, Tolchards; Swallow Drinks etc
- Professional management of a range of customers to meet and exceed budgeted volume and value sales.
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities to grow your customer base
- Build and develop exceptional multi-level relationships with key customers & stakeholders across departments
- Develop joint business plans with efficient and effective investment to drive growth.
- Drive the NPD items we are bringing to the market whilst protecting existing distribution and sales of the core range
- Work closely with the wider sales and Brand Ambassador teams to fully support and grow your customer relationships
Background and Skills
- Minimum 4 years’ experience working with regional drinks wholesalers or for a regional drinks wholesaler
- Experience working with spirits would be advantageous
- Entrepreneurial and ambitious self-starter with the ability to achieve targets and effectively organise own work schedule
- Strong communication skills
- Strong commercial/financial understanding, together with intellect and curiosity to interpret performance, recommending appropriate actions
- Ability to manage projects and multi-task whilst building strong and positive relationships at all levels (internal and external)
- Able to build strong commercial relationships
- Able to flourish with minimal guidance, being proactive and able to handle uncertainty
- Passionate about spirits and wines
