Role Overview: As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will be a key partner to the leadership team, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions. You will play a critical role in driving profitability, ensuring the financial health of the business, and optimizing business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial and financial analysis for key business decisions, including pricing strategies, product launches, and promotional activities.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting key drivers of performance, variances, and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to evaluate and manage trade spend and promotional budgets.
  • Lead financial forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
  • Analyze and track product profitability, cost structures, and margins to optimize pricing and cost management strategies.
  • Support the finance team with business cases for new projects, identifying opportunities for growth and cost reduction.
  • Develop and implement financial models for scenario planning and long-term strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures while maintaining a strong internal control environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner, or similar role within the FMCG, drinks, or retail industry.
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
