Overview

The Directors are looking to recruit to the post of STRATEGIC SERVICE LEAD. Salary: £61,099 – £65,504 (NJC points 49-53). Contracted hours: 36 hours 40 minutes per week. Start date: immediate/in-line with notice. This role is part of the wider New Bridge Group. New Bridge Horizons is a day provision for service users between the ages of 19 and 25+ with learning and/or physical difficulties. We pride ourselves on a busy, vibrant and varied environment where choice, independence and high standards are central to the opportunities available. By providing activities that suit service users’ aspirations, needs and preferences we can offer a very individual programme with support from a well-trained, experienced and dedicated staff team. The Directors are now looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic strategic service lead to take New Bridge Horizons forward into the next phase of its development. New Bridge Horizons is based on two sites in Oldham: The Link Centre, Union Street Oldham and Turf Lane Chadderton. All staff are expected to work at any site if the need arises. The post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service; references will be sought prior to interview. The New Bridge Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all services users, and applicants must have a commitment to safeguarding young adults.

  • Significant experience of strategic leadership within adult care services
  • Experience of leading service change through strategic development
  • Experience and knowledge of ensuring statutory compliance
  • Proven track record of leading on budget planning, monitoring and the effective use of resources across multiple provisions
  • Experience of working collaboratively with a range of external partners
  • A moral purpose where service users and their families are at the centre of all strategic planning and outcomes
