As a Destiny Media Job Coach, you will support students in a real workplace environment (Destiny), providing tailored guidance to help them develop their skills, confidence and independence. You will work both one-to-one and with small groups of students as they undertake work-based learning opportunities within the digital and creative industry. Alongside supporting students, you will develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, creating meaningful opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students in Destiny to develop employability and vocational skills.
- Deliver effective one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs.
- Help students build confidence, independence and workplace readiness.
- Develop relationships with businesses operating within digital, creative and media sectors.
- Support students to develop professional behaviours and industry-specific workplace skills.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to relevant College staff.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
- Promote positive employer engagement and champion inclusive employment opportunities.
