New Bridge Horizons is a day provision for adults aged 19 years and above with learning and/or physical difficulties. Based in Oldham, New Bridge Horizons is a stand-alone company affiliated to the New Bridge Group.

Location: Chadderton / Oldham town centre (staff required to cover both sites).

Contract: Permanent, full-time equivalent 36 hours 40 minutes per week, flexible / part time hours available throughout the year.

Salary: NJC pts 5-11: £25,583 – £28,142 per annum (based on 36 hrs 40 mins / full year). Commencing as soon as possible.

Closing Date: Tuesday 14th July (9am).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to service users in independent living, accessing employment opportunities and leisure activities.
  • Tasks include personal care, everyday tasks, and assisting those with mobility issues.
  • Support users with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Work across both sites as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting disabled people in undertaking everyday tasks and personal care.
  • Demonstrated proactive teamwork and genuine empathy with service users.
  • Physical resilience to support those with mobility issues.

Eligibility: This post will be subject to pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and proof of right to work in the UK in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996. It will be exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. DBS Code of Practice can be viewed.
