The Trustees of New Bridge Multi Academy Trust are seeking a Site Supervisor at New Bridge Pathways in Oldham Town Centre.
The role is part of the Premises Team, responsible for maintenance, security and safety of the campus.
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and daily repairs: painting & decorating, minor plumbing, carpentry, tiling, unblocking drains, installing shelves.
- Act as key holder, unlock/lock school buildings each day and respond to call‑outs.
- Monitor fire safety equipment, assist with fire drills, respond to alarms, record data, and recommend safety improvements.
- Perform daily Legionella checks.
- Manage stock control, COSHH compliance, and ordering of janitorial supplies.
- Maintain cleaning schedules and report any issues to the line manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance and daily repairs (painting, plumbing, carpentry, tiling, drainage).
- Experience unlocking and key‑holding for school premises.
- Experience with fire safety, drills, and alarm response.
- Experience in teamwork, meeting deadlines, and effective communication.
- Hardworking, organised and proactive approach to personal and professional development.
- Knowledge of stock control, COSHH, and ordering of preventive maintenance materials.
- Contract Details
Salary: NJC points 7‑11: £26,403 – £28,142 per annum (Full Time / Full Year). Actual Salary: £14,405 – £15,353 per annum for 20 hours per week / Full year.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday 1pm‑5pm.
Location: Initially at New Bridge Pathways, 1 Medtia Square, Phoenix St, Oldham, OL1 1AN. Staff may be required to work at any site within the New Bridge Group.
