The Springboard Project is based in Oldham town centre and provides high quality, innovative alternative educational experiences for pupils and students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) difficulties across the 14‑19 age range. The Trustees are seeking to appoint an ICT/Media Co-ordinator to join our dynamic, growing and committed staff team. The successful candidate will be a reliable, motivated and enthusiastic person who can work on their own initiative.

The main aspects of the role are to:

  • Solve basic ICT issues for staff and pupils
  • Assist with the maintenance of hardware and software
  • Support the integration and effective use of ICT within the school
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to design and format educational materials and resources

Qualifications:

  • Experience of working with iPads and an awareness of different content creation apps
  • Experience of providing training to small groups or 1:1
  • Knowledge of digital media, such as recording podcasts, photography, videography
  • Knowledge in the design of engaging social media posts across different platforms
  • Knowledge of iPad functionality and apps being used within schools
  • Experience of diagnosing and correcting straightforward faults in ICT hardware and software
  • Communication skills to give information to pupils, teachers and other staff on ICT related issues
