Come to work for New Beginnings (NE) Ltd as a Support Worker, caring for adults with learning disabilities and health needs, living in their own homes, and make a difference in the lives of the people we care for.

We are a local CQC rated \’Excellent\’ organisation and one of the largest in the North East of England.

Comprehensive training will be given. Candidates must be willing to work towards an NVQ/Apprenticeship in Health & Social Care.

You must be caring, highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.

Duties include promoting independence in service users homes and may include aspects of personal care e.g. washing, bathing. Some service users present challenging behaviours for which an agreed programme of PMVA (prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression) may be in place, full training will be given.

An enhanced DBS is required, initial costs will be met by the employer and claimed back in deduction of wages.

Benefits:
Hourly rate of pay £12.22 – £12.37
Sleep in rate – £95
Hourly rate for bank holidays £15.50
6 weeks paid holiday per year (pro rata) inclusive of bank holidays.
Company health scheme (upon completion of 6 month probationary period).
Meals paid for at work.
Paid Birthday day off.
Excellent progression opportunities.
Successful candidates will be required to work some of the following: weekends; evenings; bank holidays; sleep ins and possibly waking nights.
