New Bath Hotel & Spa is a beautiful 54-bedroom hotel located in the heart of Matlock Bath, within the scenic Peak District National Park. The hotel features a historic outdoor swimming pool known as the New Bath Hotel Lido, established in 1934, supplied by mineral-rich spring water from the nearby mountainside.
Role Responsibilities:
- Serve and ensure the wellbeing of our guests within the Bar and Restaurant.
- Complete all preparation and service of the Restaurant to the highest standards.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
- Assist with running food and the preparation of sufficient mise en place.
- Assist in the set up and closedown of the Restaurant.
- Take orders accurately and ensure timely receipt of items.
- Support the team in ensuring efficient and effective service.
- Maintain high standards of preparation and presentation.
- Serve guests to the highest standard while keeping their expectations in mind.
- Keep mise en place levels up to the required standard while rotating stock.
- Be mindful of waste and seek help to utilise all stock.
- Report any faults or defects as you see them.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene practices.
- Dress correctly in your uniform.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with all departments in the hotel.
