The successful candidate will play a vital role in the commercial management throughout the lifecycle of our construction projects. - Review of contractual requirements, risk & opportunity review and assistance with tender pricing.
- Monitor project expenditure and identify areas for cost optimisation without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on financial status, highlighting any discrepancies or potential overruns.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all stages of the project.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role within the construction sector, with a minimum of 20 years’ experience.
- Strong expertise in cost control, budgeting, and financial management of construction projects.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Chalkstring, Excel and Bluebeam.
- Good understanding of contractual procedures and legal aspects related to construction projects.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management are preferred.
