JOB MISSION: The Regional Product Operations Lead is an embedded regional role responsible for the last‑mile execution, stabilization, and adoption of global enterprise products, including regionally managed ISV solutions, within a defined business domain. This role combines business analysis, solution support and activation, partnering closely with regional business stakeholders and global teams such as the global product and engineering organization to translate business needs into scalable, high-quality technology solutions. This role ensures that global and regional technology solutions work effectively in real operational scenarios, not just in design. Acting as the single point of regional ownership, the role leads end‑to‑end triage of complex issues, coordinates across regional and global teams (Product, Architecture, Integration, Data, etc.), and works directly with regional vendors and ISV partners to drive stable, reliable business outcomes. The role is accountable for operational confidence, not solution ownership or demand governance.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Last‑Mile Operational Ownership & Stabilization
- Own regional, end‑to‑end resolution of domain‑related issues spanning process, data, integration, product, and operations.
- Lead hands‑on triage of real business scenarios (e.g., shipments without invoices, revenue mismatches, posting failures, integration drop‑offs).
- Diagnose issues across enterprise platforms, integrations, and ISV solutions to identify root causes.
- Establish stabilization mechanisms such as reconciliation views, operational checkpoints, alerts, and documented workarounds.
- Ensure issues are not only resolved, but prevented from recurring, restoring confidence in both global and regional solutions.
- Business Partnership (Domain‑Focused)
- Act as the primary regional technology partner for the assigned domain.
- Build deep understanding of regional business processes, constraints, and operational priorities.
- Partner with regional business leaders to support execution using global products and approved regional solutions.
- Serve as a trusted point of accountability when operational outcomes are at risk.
- Product Operations & Global Alignment
- Participate in global Product Operations ways of working, including intake, triage, and release readiness.
- Provide structured regional input to global Product, Platform, and Data teams, including requirements and constraints, validation and testing feedback, post‑go‑live operational insights.
- Contribute to global backlogs with clear acceptance criteria informed by regional execution realities.
- Promote adoption of global platforms and alignment with global standards.
- Regional Vendor & ISV Management (Operational Focus)
- Act as the regional technology point of contact for approved ISV partners supporting the domain.
- Support regional execution of integrations between global platforms and ISV solutions.
- Partner with Integration and Architecture teams to validate data flows and sequencing, identify failure patterns or silent errors and improve observability and alerting.
- Own day‑to‑day operational relationship management with regional vendors, including issue triage and prioritization, technical troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis, co-ordination of fixes across vendor, integration, and internal teams.
- Ensure ISV solutions integrate reliably with global platforms (e.g., D365 F&O, planning, finance, logistics systems).
- Validate vendor deliverables from an operational readiness and stability perspective before and after release.
- Escalate systemic issues to Global Product, Architecture, Integration, or Vendor Management teams as appropriate.
- Enablement, Adoption & Documentation
- Support regional enablement through training, SOPs, release notes, and targeted guidance.
- Ensure regional users understand how to operate effectively post release.
- Maintain clear documentation for operational support, issue resolution, and vendor interactions.
- Change & Transformation Support
- Support regional execution of global initiatives and transformation programmes.
- Contribute to business readiness, SIT/UAT, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
- Act as an operational owner during go‑lives and periods of elevated risk.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Experience in a Product Operations, Technology Business Partner, Enterprise Applications, or hybrid operational role.
- Strong domain expertise in one or more areas: Finance (R2R, O2C, P2P), Commercial (Sales, Pricing, Order Management), Value Chain (Planning, Logistics, Procurement), Manufacturing / Product Creation (MADE).
- Experience working with enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Hands‑on experience managing system integrations and ISV‑based solutions.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end business processes and data flows.
- Proven ability to operate in ambiguity and take ownership where accountability is unclear.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in matrixed, global organizations.
- Ability to coordinate across Product, Architecture, Integration, Data, Engineering, and Vendor teams.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Outcome‑oriented mindset with a focus on operational stability.
- Retail, consumer goods, or omnichannel environments.
