As the New Balance Run Pacer, your passion for running and fitness is an integral part of providing a premium service experience to our Run Store Consumers. Your time is spent one-on-one with the consumer and educating the staff on selling skills, product knowledge, and the brand.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be the in-store running expert. Share your passion, knowledge, and experience with customers to help them find the perfect gear for their running goals.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by guiding runners through the entire journey, from entry to purchase, ensuring they leave inspired and informed.
  • Drive performance and sales by achieving KPI’s and boosting the running category through personalized recommendations and product expertise.
  • Elevate running knowledge within the store by partnering with the Training Champion to educate and inspire the team on running products, trends, and best practices.
  • Actively stay up to date on running trends and maintain strong knowledge of competitor running products to provide informed advice and insights.
  • Engage with the local running community – participate in races, organize store runs, and build authentic connections with runners in your area.
  • Provide on-site support at New Balance sponsored running events, representing the brand and engaging with runners to create memorable experiences.
  • Maintain a premium store environment by following visual and operational standards that reflect the New Balance brand.
  • Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and assist the management team with additional tasks as needed.
  • Champion health, safety, and compliance by adhering to company policies and environmental standards.

Job Requirements

  • Strong passion for running and an active runner lifestyle (regular training, participation in races, and community involvement).
  • In-depth knowledge of running products and technologies, with the ability to compare and explain differences between brands and competitors.
