MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Inspire and motivate your team to be ambassadors of the New Balance brand, fostering a positive and high-energy store culture.
- Drive brand awareness by incorporating New Balance heritage and innovation into the customer journey.
- Create memorable customer experiences by delivering exceptional service and sharing the New Balance story in engaging ways.
- Lead by example on the shop floor and in back-of-house operations, championing teamwork and collaboration.
- Ensure global operational standards, including visual merchandising, stock control, and loss prevention, are met and exceeded.
- Analyze store performance and leverage global retail insights to drive productivity and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop team excitement through ongoing training, development opportunities, and recognition programs.
- Build cross-functional partnerships within the company to align local and global strategies for success.
- Act as the face of the flagship store, engaging with customers, community events, and senior stakeholders to promote the brand.
- Involvement in international projects and global brand-building initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Proven leadership experience with a passion for motivating teams and creating an engaging work environment.
- Strong storytelling skills to bring the New Balance brand to life for both customers and staff.
- Knowledge of global consumer trends and an ability to integrate cultural insights into retail strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
- Enthusiasm for achieving sales targets and developing team capabilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment, including availability on weekends and holidays.
- Understanding of retail KPIs, loss prevention, and multi-channel operations.
