JOB MISSION:
To be part of the Engineering team and deliver excellent service to all internal customers by ensuring that the area and equipment is operated in a safe and efficient manner to meet agreed product specifications and production targets by completing planned maintenance, timely repair of breakdowns and conducting continuous improvement and project activities including identifying problem areas then engineering out the cause.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITES:
- Ensuring legal compliance with all HSE legislation and guidance.
- Ensuring all assets have the right maintenance schedules in place and reviewed regularly.
- Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure machinery is in good state of repair.
- Work with operational teams to plan optimum time available when equipment is not in use or substitute to execute maintenance or corrective activities
- Reduce downtime.
- Consistent reporting of all activities including breakdown repair
- Being proactive on ways to improve machines or process.
- Drive innovation through application of new technologies
- Support and lead on Engineering and Capital projects,
- Contribute to technical improvements / problem solving associated within Engineering operations.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
- Holder of a Nationally recognized qualification HNC or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline.
- Strong multi discipline Electrical Bias Engineer
- Well organized with a methodical and thorough approach to work
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft office, and a CMMS
- Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and time management
- A sense of personal responsibility
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an aptitude for analysis and detail.
