Major Accountabilities

  • Maintain a full understanding and implementation of Company objectives, e.g., Stockroom and Delivery standards.
  • Responsible for opening the store to receive and accept deliveries and, on occasion, closing the store.
  • Liaise and communicate with the Store Manager on a daily basis to ensure understanding of any issues that affect the stockroom and shop floor.
  • Ensure the stockroom is well organised and that Company standards are adhered to and maintained at all times (e.g., all stock is tagged, cubed and merchandised to Company standards using specialist equipment when necessary).
  • Ensure all deliveries are processed and productivity targets are consistently met.
  • Support team with store inventory counts.
  • Actively manage the accuracy of the stock file through identifying and correcting discrepancies at the point of delivery.
  • Ensure that the team is aware of any special stock situations, (understocked, overstocked) through effective analysis and communication.
  • Liaise with the Store Visual Merchandiser to manage stock to floor procedures in a structured and strategic manner.
  • Take on Duty Manager and floor leadership responsibilities when necessary.

Requirements for Success

  • Retail Stockroom and Delivery experience required.
  • Self‑driven and leads own learning and development.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency with PCs for spreadsheets, word processing, and inventory software.
  • Flexible work schedule includes weekends and holidays.
  • Available to work occasional night shifts and must be available for inventory counts.
