The Senior Management Accountant, EMEA will be the Finance Lead and Business Partner for EMEA Regional Head Quarter cost base.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Commercial Finance Support: Business partner for the I.T / H.R / Finance / RHQ Cost centres, business partnering with the Regional Technology Director, Sr. Manager-Infrastructure services, Senior Regional HR Director, HR Director, and EMEA Senior Financial Director. Financial lead for Pan EMEA IT Capex, working alongside the Regional Technology Director to plan, coordinate, track and report spend across EMEA markets and channels. Develop EMEA IT / CAPEX / T&E reporting to provide clarity, drive efficiencies, challenging spend and identify opportunities. Presentation, reporting and commentary on the EMEA T&E to EMEA Senior Leadership. Production of critical metric analysis, management reports and ad hoc management information to aid business partners with ongoing strategic decisions.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Preparation of the Central IT forecast and budget, as well as review and coordination of Pan EMEA IT CAPEX / OPEX with local Finance Managers. Analyse and challenge the RHQ forecast and budget submissions, working closely with the department leads.
- Month End Support: Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations across regional headquarter cost base. Variance analysis and reporting of month end results across all areas of responsibility.
- Other: Assist the EMEA Management & Commercial Accounts team as necessary on long term planning, day to day tasks and new projects. Assist and support transition to new EPM and ERP system. Provide support and ownership where required on Regional Head Quarter cost centre and EMEA Consolidation analysis.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
- 2+ Years post qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA/ RA / AA or accounting equivalent).
- Spoken language at the office is English; proficiency in the English language is required.
- Strong communication skills at all levels and to non-Finance stakeholders.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint and presentation skills.
- Experience with Microsoft D365 and Oracle desirable, but not essential.
- Ability to pick up new IT systems quickly.
- Team player, organised, structured, able to manage priorities and work to tight deadlines.
- Motivated with pro-active attitude focused on continual improvement of reporting.
- High degree of accuracy and eye for detail.
