ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Taking on Duty Manager and floor leadership responsibilities, when necessary, with priority.
  • Maintain a full understanding and implementation of Company objectives e.g. Stockroom and Delivery standards following the most recent SOP’s.
  • Responsible as a keyholder to open the store to receive and accept deliveries and on occasion, close the store.
  • Liaise and communicate with the Store Manager daily to ensure understanding of any issues that affect the stockroom and shop floor.
  • Ensuring the stockroom is well organised and that Company standards are adhered to and always maintained e.g. all stock is tagged, cubed and merchandised to Company standards using specialist equipment when necessary.
  • Ensuring all deliveries are processed and productivity targets are consistently met.
  • Lead the completion of RTV’s and communicate to store MT on completion rate and support needed.
  • Making sure the shopfloor is refilled accordingly in a timely manner depending on the needs of the store.
  • Support external team with store inventory counts and follow up on shrinkage plan when needed.
  • Actively manage the accuracy of the stock file through identifying and correcting discrepancies, at the point of delivery.
  • Ensuring that the team is aware of any special stock situations, (understocked, overstocked) through effective analysis and communication to store MT.
  • Liaise with the Store Visual Merchandiser to manage stock to floor procedures in a structured and strategic manner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Retail Stockroom and Delivery experience.
  • Self-driven and leads own learning and development.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency with PC’s for spreadsheets, word processing, and inventory software.
  • Available to work occasional night shifts and must be available for inventory counts.
