Position Summary

New Balance retail stores are looking for associates who can engage, excite, educate and entertain our consumers from the moment they walk through the door. We want people who can develop with us as we continue our journey as a growing brand. This role requires passion, a desire to be a true brand ambassador, and a genuine love for visual merchandising.

Major Accountabilities

  • Provide assistance to the Visual Merchandising Lead for the execution of visual standards, concepts and campaigns in the flagship store.
  • Ensure new product is placed on the floor within visual guidelines in a timely manner.
  • Assist with key product launches, product levels, and sell‑through.
  • Hang/steam/organise apparel both front and back of house.
  • Ensure all promotional materials, marketing signage, product signage and graphics are up to date and utilised as directed.
  • Ensure mannequins and walls are set according to the momentum guide and refreshed as required.
  • Develop product knowledge of store merchandise.
  • Keep up to date with current seasonal trends.
  • May participate in new store openings as requested.
  • Maintain back‑of‑house organisation.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Visual merchandising experience.
  • Team player.
  • Self‑motivation, creativity and organisation are a must.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain healthy team relationships.

  • Able to work early hours to execute initiatives before store opening.
  • Flexible work schedule includes weekends and holidays.
  • Depending on the location, may require some travel.
