An established international business services provider is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join its UK finance team. Operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, the organisation provides specialist financial and operational services that support clients across the entertainment industry, working on a wide range of productions and projects. This role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative finance function where accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement are highly valued.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will play an important role in supporting the integrity of financial reporting and overseeing key operational finance processes. This position would suit a self-motivated finance professional who enjoys taking ownership of their work and thrives on responsibility within a busy environment. Candidates will ideally be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), although experienced individuals who are qualified by experience will also be considered.
The role offers hybrid working, with an expectation to be in the office three days per week, with a greater presence during the initial onboarding period to support integration into the team and processes.
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L accounts and variance analysis
- Support statutory accounts preparation and assist with audit queries
- Oversee the recording of financial data in Oracle, ensuring client liabilities are accurately reconciled
- Ensure daily bank reconciliations across the portfolio
- Manage the weekly finance data analytics dashboard
- Identify process improvements and support operational efficiencies across the finance function
Accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience with proven success. Strong experience preparing management accounts and supporting the close process. Oracle experience highly advantageous.
