If you’re an experienced Finance Assistant who wants a varied role within an interesting industry, this Finance Assistant position will be joining a finance and payroll solutions company that specialises in the TV, Film, and Entertainment industry. They support an impressive portfolio of creative clients and are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their collaborative, high-performing environment. This is a role where finance meets creativity.

You’ll take ownership across accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll support, working closely with a portfolio of well‑known media clients. To be a suitable candidate, you must have at least 6-12 months finance experience and have excellent communication skills and a can‑do attitude.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Raising and reconciling invoices accurately
  • Completing daily bank reconciliations
  • Managing the sales ledger and debtor reporting
  • Reconciling payable and payroll ledgers
  • Submitting RTI information to HMRC
  • Processing client payroll payments
  • Managing PAYE and pension contributions
  • Authorising and releasing payments
  • Preparing weekly MI and sales reports
  • Supporting audit processes

Candidate Specification:

  • Strong finance administration experience
  • Confidence working in a high-volume processing environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Payroll experience would be beneficial
  • Good Excel capability
  • A team-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working independently when needed
  • Experience with Xero or Oracle is advantageous
