We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team in Whitstable on an ongoing temporary basis. This assignment is expected to last 2-3 months initially, with the potential to be extended.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong QuickBooks experience who is looking for flexible, part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities- Processing purchase and supplier invoices
- Matching payments and maintaining accurate records
- Carrying out bank reconciliations
- General accounts administration
- Using QuickBooks to support daily finance activities
- Providing support to the finance team during a period of temporary cover
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
- Good working knowledge of QuickBooks is essential
- Experience processing invoices and reconciling accounts
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to start immediately
- 15-20 hours per week
- Approximately 4 x 4-hour days (with the potential to increase to 5 x 4-hour days depending on business needs)
