Are you an experienced Quality professional with a passion for driving continuous improvement? Our client, a leading engineering and manufacturing business, is seeking a Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager to lead quality strategy, improve operational performance, and embed a culture of Lean manufacturing across the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping manufacturing excellence while working closely with senior leadership, engineering, production and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the company's Quality Management System (ISO 9001).
  • Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, VSM, APQP, DMAIC, 8D, A3).
  • Manage internal quality audits, non-conformance and corrective actions.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) into manufacturing.
  • Identify waste reduction opportunities and improve production efficiency.
  • Monitor supplier quality and drive supply chain improvements.
  • Analyse performance data, report KPIs and present quality updates to senior management.
  • Champion operational change and industrialisation projects.
About You
  • HNC/HND or Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years in a quality management role.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Lead Auditor qualified with experience managing internal and supplier quality.
  • Proven experience implementing Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt and CQI membership would be advantageous.
