We are seeking an experienced and proactive MIS & Database Manager to lead the management, development and day-to-day operation of the core Management Information System (iSAMS) and associated platforms. This is a high-impact role positioned between IT, operations and academic administration, supporting staff, students, parents and senior leadership through the effective use of systems, data and reporting.
You will take ownership of key platforms including MIS, reporting systems, timetabling processes, examination results cycles, parent portal access and third-party integrations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and optimise iSAMS and connected systems
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, GDPR compliance and security
- Produce reports using SQL / SSRS for leadership teams and departments
- Support examinations, results processing and annual reporting cycles
- Manage parent portal access and parent-facing systems
- Support timetable imports and academic scheduling processes
- Deliver user training and support to staff and parents
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and better systems integration

- Strong SQL database and reporting experience
- Experience with MIS / ERP / database systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities independently
- Calm and organised approach during busy periods

- SSRS experience
- School Census / DfE reporting knowledge
