We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business looking to expand its IT team with the appointment of a Software Developer. Reporting to an experienced Senior Software Engineer, you'll play an active role in the design, development and ongoing improvement of internal web applications that support the business. This is an excellent opportunity for either a recent Computer Science graduate or a developer with commercial experience who is looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment while working on a variety of business-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop and maintain modern web applications using C# and .NET.
- Work with users to understand requirements and develop practical software solutions.
- Design and maintain SQL databases that support business applications.
- Develop intuitive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML and CSS.
- Maintain and enhance existing systems and software features.
- Troubleshoot software issues and continually improve application performance and usability.
- Work collaboratively within the IT team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with C# and .NET through commercial work, personal projects or academic study.
- Knowledge of SQL databases and web technologies, including HTML and CSS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A keen interest in software development with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of ASP.NET or other .NET web technologies.
- Experience of developing or supporting business applications.
