Packaging operative and FLT Driver required in Sittingbourne for a client who is a global leader in flexible packaging. This role can become permanent for the right candidate.
Duties will include:
- Packing products into bags and placing them into boxes ready for dispatch
- Printing and applying labels accurately to finished goods
- Wrapping products either manually or using a shrink-wrap machine
- Moving goods through to the dispatch area efficiently
- Using a pump truck to transport items safely within the warehouse
- Assisting with the machine operations including loading product onto the line
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Use of Forklift - licences can be internal or external
The hours of work are 8.00am - 4.00pm initially, however you do need to be able to start from 6am and work until 10pm as they do operate a shift system. This role pays £12.71ph.
