Location: Tonbridge

Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum (up to £45,000 per annum for full-time equivalent)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (half-hour lunch)

Days: 3 days per week with flexibility to work across 4 shorter days.

Hybrid: 2 days per week on-site

The Role

As Senior Supply Chain Planner you will join a close-knit team of three and play a key role in supporting the efficient planning and coordination of the company's supply chain activities. Covering a 12-month maternity contract, you will be responsible for production planning, inventory management and stock optimisation, ensuring operations run smoothly as the business grows. Working closely with suppliers, you will help maintain timely availability of raw materials to meet customer demand while balancing inventory levels effectively. You will also identify potential risks, resolve supply chain challenges, and contribute to initiatives that improve efficiency and minimise disruption. This position offers exposure to both UK and international supply chain operations, providing valuable experience within a growing global environment.

Required Experience and Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience in production planning and inventory management
  • Experience managing supplier set-up for new suppliers and sourcing materials for upcoming new product developments
  • Confidence in using a WMS to ensure stock optimisation
  • Proficiency in planning transport for key suppliers, managing orders and resolving issues
  • Ability to attend weekly calls with suppliers to coordinate orders and deliveries
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and adaptability to quick changes
  • Analytical skills to assess processes and anticipate challenges
  • Passion for driving continuous improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Self-starter able to prioritise own workload
  • Ownership and responsibility for processes
