We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR / Recruitment Administrator to join our client's team on a temporary basis, providing maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and detail-focused HR administrator to join a small, supportive team. There is also potential for the position to become permanent following the maternity cover period.
The Role
Working closely with the HR team, you will provide a range of administrative support across HR, recruitment and employee administration. Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and updating confidential employee records and personnel files
- Supporting the recruitment and onboarding process
- Providing general HR and employee administration
- Assisting with HR systems and processes
- Monitoring and adjusting employee clock cards
- Supporting time and attendance administration
- Managing HR workflows and ensuring information is accurate and up to date
- Communicating confidently and professionally with employees and colleagues
About You
We are looking for candidates with previous experience in HR Administration, Personnel Administration or Recruitment Administration. You will ideally have:
- Previous experience within an HR or recruitment administration role
- A good practical understanding of HR processes
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience maintaining confidential employee information
- Confidence using HR systems and administrative software
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Experience within an internal HR environment would be advantageous. Experience with time and attendance, clock-card monitoring, payroll/HR systems or workflow-based systems would also be beneficial. Experience with MorePay is desirable but not essential. Candidates with strong recruitment administration experience and some exposure to wider HR processes will also be considered.
Working Hours
The initial requirement is 74 hours over a 9-day fortnight, working:
- Monday to Thursday - 8 hours 15 minutes per day
- Working Friday - 8 hours
There is flexibility around the working pattern, and following the maternity cover the hours are expected to reduce to approximately 60 hours per fortnight.
