Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a well-established manufacturing business where no two days are the same? We're looking for an immediately available hands-on Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a busy manufacturing facility, ensuring machinery and equipment remain safe, reliable and operating efficiently.
The Role
As part of the maintenance team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of production machinery and site equipment. This is a practical role with a mechanical focus, supporting the smooth running of manufacturing operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults on production machinery.
- Servicing hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Completing maintenance records and ensuring work is carried out safely.
- Undertaking basic electrical maintenance such as replacing switches, sensors and other simple components where required.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial maintenance environment.
- Mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills.
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
