Quality Engineer
We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Quality Engineer to join an established engineering environment in Margate.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will support quality systems, regulatory compliance, auditing, non-conformance management and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support quality approvals including AS9100, AS9110 and EASA Part 145.
- Support and conduct internal, supplier, customer and third-party audits.
- Manage non-conformances and lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement across quality, compliance and efficiency.
- Maintain calibration, authorisation and training systems.
- Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions and documentation.
- Support EN4179 and NDT requirements.
- Deliver quality and regulatory training where required.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Identify appropriate opportunities to use AI to improve productivity and quality.
About You
- Experience in a regulated aerospace, aviation, MRO, manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of AS9100 and/or AS9110.
- Internal auditing and auditor training experience.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and organisational skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams.
Desirable: EASA Part 145, FAA, EN4179/NDT, supplier auditing or training experience.
