Hours: 6am - 2pm, working 5 out of 7 (with two consecutive days off)

Key responsibilities:
- Supervise shift personnel across dedicated production line
- Carry out inductions for new starters
- Participate in daily production huddles and briefings
- Delegate relevant information from morning huddles to line staff
- Carry out required training as necessary
- Organise staffing levels to ensure maximum output
- Report on production achieved, and provide a details handover for the next shift
- Carry out QA checks and complete relevant documentation
- Monitor usage of sundry items and report any shortages
- Ensure 'clean as you go' is applied and followed across production
- Ensure staff are adhering to company hygiene practices
- Ensure equipment is cleaned properly and any identified faults are reported
- Follow sign off procedures and ensure paperwork and labelling is accurate
- Ensure all unused stock is returned and recorded
- Report all accidents, near misses and unsafe acts or conditions
- Maintain high levels of quality for our customers
- Identify and suggest areas for improvement
Experience and skills required:
- Experience working on a food production line as a Line Leader or senior member
- Be able to prioritise tasks and use initiative to problem solve
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to delegate and give clear instructions
- Provide a supportive environment for staff
