We are working for a well established and successful independent manufacturing company, are seeking a professional, highly organised, and adaptable PA to support the MD. This role is based in Westerham working 21 hours over 3 days.
Key Responsibilities:
As the PA to the MD, you\’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of office operations and administration. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes initiative and thrives on multi-tasking, where your contribution will be integral to the business success.
- Managing travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, accommodation and provide comprehensive business and personal administrative support.
- Email management, organising correspondence, preparation of documents and managing all communication on behalf of the MD.
- Scheduling meetings, organising meeting agendas, organising files, and creating presentations.
- Handling incoming calls, and screening sales calls assertively.
- Organising staff events, exhibitions, and corporate functions.
- Overseeing daily office operations, including coordination with cleaners and maintenance staff.
- Maintaining training records, managing holiday requests, and supporting HR-related tasks.
- Processing and organising expense claims.
- Staff management of the Receptionist and Maintenance Supervisor.
Key Skills:
- Proven PA/ EA experience in a standalone role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication – both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- Calm and resourceful under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Part time, working 21 hours on set days on: Wednesday- 9am to 5.30pm, Thursday and Friday with a finishing time of 4pm. Flexibility required to cover holidays and sickness.
