A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Office Manager to join a friendly and supportive team in Rochester. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership and ensuring the smooth running of a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day running of the office
- Supporting HR administration, onboarding and staff training
- Assisting with health & safety, GDPR and compliance
- Managing insurance renewals and fleet administration
- Supporting senior managers and operational teams
- Coordinating repairs, servicing and office requirements
- Preparing customer quotes and documents
- General administration and answering incoming calls
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in an Office Manager or Business Support role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience providing HR administration support
- Ideally some knowledge or experience of health & safety processes and compliance
- Comfortable supporting multiple teams and working across a variety of tasks
- Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office packages
- A proactive, reliable and flexible approach with good common sense
- Experience with fleet management, GDPR or general compliance would be advantageous but not essential
