English Lecturer - Temporary

We are currently recruiting for an English Lecturer to join a further education setting on a temporary basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and supportive English teaching to learners studying GCSE English and Functional Skills.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality English lessons to GCSE and Functional Skills learners.
- Support learners in achieving their English qualifications and developing their confidence and skills.
- Assess learner progress and provide appropriate feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
About You
We are looking for an experienced English teacher or lecturer who has:
- Previous experience teaching English.
- Experience delivering GCSE and/or Functional Skills English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for supporting learners to achieve their potential.
- A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, but not essential.
Hours:16 hours per week
This is a great opportunity for an experienced English Lecturer looking for a temporary position within a further education environment.
