We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator to join a busy warehouse operation based in Sittingbourne. This is a fantastic temp to perm opportunity for someone with previous warehouse administration experience who enjoys working in a busy environment.
You will play a key role in supporting the day to day running of the warehouse, ensuring stock records are accurate, customer orders are processed efficiently, and deliveries are coordinated smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Process inbound and outbound deliveries using the Warehouse Management System.
- Create delivery notes, Goods Received Notes and dispatch paperwork.
- Update stock movements and maintain accurate records.
- Process customer orders and maintain warehouse documentation.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and support stock takes and cycle counts.
- Produce stock reports and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide updates on orders and deliveries.
- Liaise with customers, couriers and transport providers to coordinate deliveries.
- Prepare transport paperwork and customs documentation where required.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and work towards company KPIs.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have previous warehouse administration experience and be confident using a Warehouse Management System. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy warehouse environment.
You will also have:
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Accurate data entry skills and a high level of numeracy.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work well under pressure.
Experience within a 3PL logistics environment, transport administration or inventory control would be advantageous but is not essential.
